This unique four-day course is designed to fully involve you in the wonderful world of horses. Not only will you get the chance to ride a horse, but you will also learn how they are maintained and looked after.
As part of this fun and educational experience, students will have the opportunity to learn how to handle, groom and tack up their horses. After being trained in the basics of riding a horse (holding the reins, turning the horse, etc.), students will have the chance to actually get in the saddle and go for rides in the countryside. All of this is done while learning new vocabulary related to horses.

Horse Riding is a thrilling and empowering sport that will get you into the great outdoors on an unforgettable experience. Courses are designed to take students into areas of unspoilt natural beauty and spectacular coastal scenery. Our Horse Riding Course is ideal for adventure-lovers and students who are new to horse riding as well as those with some experience but no actual training.
You will be visiting a stables in Bidnija that provides shelter for abandoned, neglected and ill-treated horses. This organisation is run on a voluntary basis and all the funds they receive goes towards the feeding and care of the rescued animals.
Bidnija is a small agricultural village that has some of Malta’s most picturesque and untouched countryside, and during the course students will have the chance to explore this place extensively.
On the final day of the course, students will be taken on a 2 hour cross-country ride along Malta’s stunningly beautiful north-western coastline, overlooking the beaches of Golden Bay, Ghajn Tuffieha, and Gnejna Bay. If the timing is right you’ll be able to enjoy a dazzling sunset, while on clear days the island of Gozo is also visible.
No horse-riding experience is needed, since all riders are accompanied by a qualified instructor.
