From a small fishing village in the 1960s Bugibba has grown into a large built up town. The heart of Bugibba is the Square, which is lined with bars and restaurants and has a nice view of the sea.
The promenade runs from St. Paul’s Bay along the waterfront passed Bugibba and Qawra ending at Salina Bay. In summer it can get very busy with both tourists and the Maltese especially around Bugibba Square. Along the waterfront between the Square and the jetty there are a number of good restaurants and bars, most with excellent sea views. The food is of good quality and is reasonably priced.
