Qawra
Bugibba and Qawra together form the largest tourist resort on the island providing English students with all the necessary amenities for a quality holiday in Malta all within easy walking distance.
Qawra
Fronted by a long seaside promenade, Qawra is a seaside resort with a range of quality hotels as well as budget accommodation and apartments. A man-made sandy beach provides a popular spot for bathers but students may also wish to enjoy the luxury of one of the private beach clubs which are plentiful along the coast.
The main public bus station servicing the north of Malta is also found in Qawra providing easy access to tourist attractions and other sites of interest on the island. Buses to Valletta, Sliema, Mdina and even Marsaxlokk run regularly. You can also get to the beaches in Mellieha and Golden Bay by bus and it is very easy to get to the ferry to Gozo by bus from Qawra bus terminus.
Tourist amenities in the area include bars, restaurants, a casino, beach clubs with watersports facilities and internet cafés. The area provides students with various al fresco dining options. Despite the area's popularity with locals and tourists, prices here tend to be significantly lower than other tourist resorts in Malta.
Students will also enjoy Amazonia and Fuego, the two most popular indoor and outdoor nightclubs in the area.
